To my friends and customers,

I have an important announcement to make. It is time for me to flee The Nail Bar nest…

One thing that lockdown has taught me is that life is just too short and that we must focus on ourselves a little more, do what feels right for us at that moment in time and grab opportunities with both hands when we get the chance.

I have been growing and nurturing The Nail Bar for 15 incredible years and I am very proud to say that I have built a very successful empire and that I have an amazing team of therapists working
alongside me together with the best clients a salon owner could wish for.

However, as the years have passed, my life has taken some twists and turns and I now feel I have been steered onto a different path with a new adventure to explore.
As some of you know my mum is not in the greatest of health and I therefore spend a lot of time with her. Family time is very precious, and I would like to be there for her a bit more in the years to

Alongside that I have taken a new career path of “Fitness Instructor” and over the past 3 years have been building on my classes, which luckily has proven to be extremely successful.

I can no longer juggle all of my passions and still keep a good work life balance so I have decided to take the plunge and sell the salon.

I’ve had a number of people enquire about The Nail Bar over the years but have been waiting for someone to come along who was just the right fit for me, for the girls and for our clients. I have found that person in local lady Samantha Lee.

Sam is one of the loveliest people I know and I trust her completely in taking what I have built and treating it with the love and care that it deserves. She will love it just as much as I do, will look after the staff and have their best interests at heart, and will continue to provide the unique service to our clients that The Nail Bar has become known for.

When you get to meet her, I’m sure that you will understand exactly what I mean.
Supported by her husband Dan, who runs another business locally, I am sure she’s the perfect fit to replace me as owner of The Nail Bar. I wonder if Dan knows that he’ll spend the next six months as
Sam’s ‘model’ as she brushes up on all the treatments we offer!?

So, the big questions; what happens next and what does that mean for you?

Well, that’s an easy one; nothing will change!

Sam would like for the salon to continue running in the same way, has kindly offered to honour the in date outstanding gift vouchers and she will be continuing our current loyalty scheme that we have
in place so you can all continue to collect those stamps you all love so much.

We will ALL (including me) continue to work our regular hours and I will continue to work at the salon with the team for the next few months to ensure a smooth and complete transition for everyone.

During this time, I will continue to serve customers and be on hand to assist with any enquiries you may have, and I will also be using this time to help Sam settle in to ensure she gets off to a flying start.

During this transition, clients who would usually see me for treatments will be offered a choice of therapists and can rest assured that the service provided will be exactly as it’s always been. Over the
coming days, I will be making calls to everyone who is booked in with me to make the necessary arrangements.

I appreciate this will feel like a huge change and also a big surprise to most of you, however I would like to think that I will have everyone’s full support in the choices I have made and that all will wish me well on my new life adventures! Of course, I will be staying local and will see you all in the Nail
Bar when I pop in for my own treatments!
I have made some amazing friendships over the years which I hope will continue and I will miss you all very much.

If you have any questions, please do get in touch and we look forward to seeing you in the salon soon.

Much love,
Vic xx
